Role Description:
Our client, a global advertising agency located in downtown Toronto is seeking a Financial Coordinator for a permanent opportunity, please see a list of responsibilities below:
- Work closely with client service team and finance to ensure financial needs of both agency and client are meet
- Assigning and setting up jobs in financial systems (SAP)
- Working with internal finance team on inter-company payable and billings
- Assist in the process of client related supplier invoices
- Prepare production estimates and issue billing
- Ensure costs and billing on jobs are current and accurate
- Monitor jobs ensuring costs are within estimate and flag any discrepancies
- Maintaining a detailed financial jobs status report
- Financial experience in advertising industry is an asset but not required
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a financial administrator role or accounting clerk position
- Superior organizational skills with demonstrated commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Customer service focused and professional
- Understanding of billings procedures an asset
- Experience using SAP
- College/University degree in accounting preferred
